Our story
Welcome to Sri Sarguru Matriculation School, where quality education and compassion are our motto, and where we nurture beautiful minds with love and care.
Operated by the A.M. Muthuramaswamy Educational Trust, the school opened its gates in 2000 with just five students. From that small, determined beginning we have grown into a family of more than 500 children — while holding on to the personal care that defined us from day one.
We follow the Tamil Nadu State Board syllabus from Pre-KG to 10th Standard, supported by science and computer labs, a library, smart classrooms and our own school transport.
The SUITS advantage
Through the SUITS programme — the School-University Industry-Tie-up Scheme, in association with Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli — students from Std 5 to Std 9 gain skill-based IT training, earning a Diploma in Computer Science certification by Grade 9.
It is a head start very few schools in the region can offer, and it sits alongside the regular syllabus rather than replacing any part of it.
Our belief
As Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam said, the purpose of education is to make good human beings with skill and expertise — and enlightened human beings can be created by teachers.
That belief guides everything we do, from morning prayer to our values and awareness programmes.
